Steve Reimer
Lead Pastor

Steve has lived in Stanhope Gardens since 2008. He leads our church and staff team, and longs for people to know Jesus. He enjoys biryani, his vertical garden, and doing parkrun every Saturday - no matter where he is (but he’s not a runner).

Rachel Husking
Youth Coordinator

Rachel moved to Oz from Mississippi in 2019 and married Jarrod, an Aussie, in 2021. As the Youth Coordinator, Rachel loves working with the youth of our church, seeing young people engage with each other and God's word. While away from work, Rachel loves being with friends, drinking coffee, and discovering new parts of God's beautiful creation.

Jeremy Smith
Assistant Minister - Children and Families

Jeremy grew up in Japan, is married to Felicity, and they have a young son, Albie. Jeremy loves to see people grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus. He enjoys spending his spare time with his family, and following all kinds of sports, particularly the NBA.

Katie McDonald
Anglicare Village Chaplain

Katie has been a Christian for nearly two thirds of her life, working in Christian ministry in various ways since then. Katie works part time as a Village Chaplain at The Ponds Retirement Village. Her greatest delight is to teach the Bible and encourage people towards the hope that is found in Christ. An endless cup of tea (in the finest china) on a secluded beach (preferably in NZ), with a good book (with no interruptions), is her idea of bliss!

David Traill
Assistant Minister Care and Connection,
and Anglicare Village Chaplain

David oversees and seeks to grow the Care and Connection ministries at Stanhope, which bring opportunities to meet with, listen to, and get to know people at church. David’s journey as a Christian has been greatly influenced by the love and care of other people, which he seeks to replicate now, which fits very well with his love of a long conversation! He is married to Janelle, and they have three children - Bradley, Ella, and Owen. 

Alison Atack
Ministry Support Coordinator

Alison has been part of Stanhope church since 2007. She loves organising, helping and creating, and being able to support the ministry work that is spreading the good news of Jesus in our community. Alison is married to Jeff, and together they have four wonderful kids, plus a fluffy fur baby (possibly the most popular member of the family!). In her spare time, Alison loves going on walks, travelling, reading, and family movie nights.
